DC 2 blue Print

Scanned from an original 1936 blueprint that was drawn for the Douglas Aircraft Corporation to show the DC2 stations.
Only 198 Douglas Commercial model 2 (DC2) were produced. The DC2 was the slightly smaller sibling and progenitor of the iconic DC3/C-47 that was introduced in 1936.

Printed onto poster paper A2 size and mounted in a crisp white frame measuring 73cm by 53cm.

Wellington Youngers Nose Art

This was a replica nose art panel that we had this artwork on the linen fabric - which we have framed.

This framed section of Irish Linen that has been dope tightened and then black surface dope applied before painting nose art on it and then matt top coated.

The artwork is as often seen on Youngers beer.

Young/ers was painted on the side of a Vickers Wellington Bomber.

This artwork is a reproduction of the nose art.

HD-7 flew with 466Squadron. It was flown by Pilot Officer Young and the Navigator Sergeant Younger hence the name

The frame measures 50 cm x 60 cm and has an acrylic glazing so safe to post.

Original Cartoon Artwork MAC Daily Mail

An original artists drawing for a Cartoon for the Daily Mail.

Drawn in pen on white background with blue wash - framed and in the rear of the frame is the original white/black mask that was used for printing.

Drawn my MAC - aka Stanley Mc Murtry who drew cartoons for the Daily Mail from the 1970's to 2018. He has since returned to draw for the Mail on Sunday.

This drawing is captioned in pen to Mac from Mac - Best wishes.

Assumed to be 1980's/1990's and features Prince Charles in his bedroom with a squad of policemen providing extra security.

The text below in pencil reads -

"Well, Personally one feels you've left your tightening up on security a bit late...."

So either Post the intruder at the place in 1982 or post separation from Princess Diana in early 90's.

A large drawing which in its frame measures 42.76 cm x 55.75 cm ( 16.75 inches x 22 inches wide.

The frame is not perfect and has soon several knocks over the last 30 years - we have repainted the scratches in black and polished.

Comes with a wire for hanging on the wall.
