Metal Alloy cast of a Supermarine Spitfire Vb

The profile of a Super Marine Spitfire model Vb cast in metal alloy. Based on a 1-24 scale fix model.

They are mounted on hard wood base and can be hung on the wall.
Total size is 45cm by 15 cm high and 7cm proud. The whole piece weighs 2.6 kg.

WW2 Supermarine Spitfire Part Eagle Squadron Nose Art

Part of the tail section from a Mk XIV Spitfire.
This is a very structural aircraft part is from the Horizontal Stabilizer made by Folland and looks great hanging on the wall.
The rear has the original grey/green paint that we have left intact.

Also on the rear there are two 377 part numbers ( Mk XIV Spitfire) as well as several inspectors stamps with FL letters - this confirms it was made by Folland.

We have repainted one side in RAF Dark Green paint and added the Eagle Squadron fighting Eagle emblem that was developed for the American Airmen who flew with the RAF - originally in Hurricanes and later in Spitfires from Aug 1941 until late 1942 when the American servicemen were transferred into the USAAF.

We have added a D-ring to the upper edge to allow it to be wall hung if desired.

We have top coated the painted side with a clear matt acrylic top coat.

Size is 54cm long x 27 cm tall (max).
