RAAF BOSTON Spirit of Sport
This is an original wartime section of wing from a Douglas A20 Havoc/ Boston It is made of Dural.

It has been painted with the “Spirit of Sport” the artwork was applied to an RAAF Boston that few with 22 Squadron in the Pacific. The pilot was Flt. Lt. William Ellis (Bill) Newton VC.

Th artwork shows the 4 vices” women, gambling; drinking and smoking.

The panel is 47 cm a 26 cm
