Engineers Surface plate Side table

A 1944 engineers surface plate made from Pilkington glass by Jones Shipman of Leicester.

The 1 inch thick glass has been mounted into a side table that we have made from solid oak.

Some small surface marks and haze from years of engineers moving metal around on it.
We have retained the original plate serial number with 1944 date to the edge.

The glass is 12 inches X 12 inches X 1 inch thick.

The table is 14 inches square and
