Messerschmitt Bf 109

This is a small section  from the cockpit floor ( under Fuel tank) from Me Bf 109 G2 Werk No. 13605. This aircraft was shot down over Russia  on the 21st June 1943 whilst being flown By Heinrich Erhler  - a German Ace of over 200 kills. Ehrler baled out successfully.

The piece has been painted as the aircraft flown by ace Erich Hartmann who flew with the Karaya logo containing his girlfriends name

The first piece has been painted as the aircraft flown by ace Josef Priller. Prillers aircraft all had a Ace of Hearts playing card with his wifes name Jutta on it.
