YAK 3

This is part of a Wing Flap from a Yak .

It is believed to be from a YAK 3 (same part was used on Yak 11 ).

Post war it was used as a roadside sign in Russia. It had been cut into 3 lengths by a scrapman before being rescued

It is painted with the 402 IAP winged sword logo

YAK 9 Normandie Niemen

This is part of a lower wing panel from a Yak 9.

It was recovered from the Heinkel factory at  Oranienburg in Berlin at the end of the war. There were two squadrons of Yak 9’s based there in 1945

It has been painted in the colours and Nose Art of a French Normandie Niemen Yak 9 flown on the Eastern front.

The club has the cyrillic for Yak on it.

This large panel is 82.5cm  x 48 cm.

This is part of a lower wing panel from a Yak 9.

It was recovered from the Heinkel factory at  Oranienburg in Berlin at the end of the war. There were two squadrons of Yak 9’s based there in 1945

It has been painted in the colours  of the 1st Squadron of the 168th IAP 

Mockba is Russian for Moscow.
