B17 Memphis Belle


This is a  fuselage section from a wartime USAAF  B17 Flying Fortress that was ditched on the return from her first mission. All crew rescued.


It has been painted with the  original famous Memphis Belle artwork.


The Belle was a B17 F that was one of the first to complete a tour of duty.



The panel is 30 cm x 24cm .

B17 Stars and Stripes

This is a  fuselage section from a wartime USAAF  B17 Flying Fortress that was ditched on the return from her first mission. All crew rescued.


It has been painted with artwork found an ETO B17 G  Flying Fortress.


The Stars and Stripes was a US magazine


The panel is 22.5cm x 15 cm

B17 A Bit O Lace

This is a  fuselage section from a wartime USAAF  B17 Flying Fortress that was ditched on the return from her first mission. All crew rescued.


It has been painted with artwork found on B17  Flying Fortress 297976 which flew 83 combat missions before being returned to the US and ultimately scrapped  .


Miss Lace was a cartoon character drawn by Milton Caniff for Male Call a US magazine.


The panel is 55 cm x 15 cm

B17 Memphis Belle


This is a  fuselage section from a wartime USAAF  B17 Flying Fortress that was ditched on the return from her first mission. All crew rescued.


It has been painted with the Starcer artwork of Outhouse Mouse B17G 42-31636 that flew from Bassingbourn with the 323rd squadron of the 91st bomb group.


Outhouse Mouse was the first B17 to be engaged by a Luftwaffe Jet.
