This was a custom panel, also our first Jet and US aircraft.
The Boeing B47 Stratojet was one of the first aircraft developed as an intercontinental bomber. It had an innovative swept wing. The first prototype flew in 1947.
It was flown as part of Strategic Air Command.
The specific aircraft that the panel has been prepared as is :
B47 4230.
This aircraft crashed at Lakenheath in 1956 and set fire to a nuclear weapon storage bunker. The crew members were all killed
